This is an illustration I did for a type exhibition hosted by Wolves. Each artist was given a letter of the alphabet to illustrate for the event. I was given the letter 'X' and based it on one of my favourite fonts 'Georgia'. It has also been included into a limited edition letterpress almanac for 2013. Featuring some of the best local illustrators.

Clothing boutique LOOM and local organic chocolatiers Honest Chocolate joined forces to create a limited edition artist series of chocolates. Illustration for a children's book showing the effects of deforestation. All the animals homes have been destroyed by man and Bear comforts them. 'He had an idea, right there and then. He would put his big arms, around all of them.'

The Illustration for the Virgin Goliath Challenge for print and online communications. Sibusiso Vilane tackled his 'Goliath'. The first black person to complete the three pole challenge. South Pole, North Pole and Mount Everest. This illustration is a tribute to his achievement and having to face your fears.

This is a poster illustration I did for an art exhibition in the UK by Norwegian Ink, titled 'The Deadly Sins'. Based on the 7 deadly sins. Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride. All the artists had to depict one or several of these sins in their artwork. This piece was also a finalist and featured in the publication.

Three South African illustrators were chosen to redesign the new Nik Naks packs and the public got to vote via online and social media for the winning design. This is a corporate identity and branding I did for a production company based in Cape Town. It's called MacDuff Films. Named after the Shakepeare character that kills Macbeth. MacDuff produces adverts, music video's and personal projects. This is design & illustration work for an ongoing art & music project, Including posters, corporate identity, illustrations and music. This album makes use of paper craft, hand printing and laser cutting. The cover art and other material were created using laser cut stamps and ink pads that could be combined in different ways. The artwork was also used by the clothing company Hruki who create limited edition band merchandise.

This is the illustration, typography & design I did for the Migrate Magazine. An advertising and marketing magazine in South Africa. This also related to several designs & features inside. The magazine formed part of the annual Loerie Awards ceremony. The theme this year was 'Make Your Mom Proud'. So we called it The Mom Issue. It has a custom gold embossed foil on the front and back cover. It was awarded a gold craft.

I was asked by the Canadian Children's Hospital and annual charity event The Snowflake Ball, to do a once off artwork that would then be auctioned off to raise money. The theme is 'Springtime in Paris'. But I went for more of a winter theme with a snow globe inspired Paris city scene.
